People say that Bengalis got wheels on their legs, my family and I are not an exception. Every alternate day my mom started telling me to arrange a trip abroad because it has been a long we did not go out and almost got stagnant in our daily lives only with work pressure. So, finally, I had to make a tour plan to Australia with family else mom would have killed me. Nowadays, advertisements on tv channels are so common that a choosing pocket-friendly destination been straightforward only needed to explore Google for finding some package tour, and I found a few. The Internet informed us that September to November Spring season there so we decided to go there in October and decided a 9-night tour package through an operator. There were a few days remaining, and we all were warming up with packing and the other formalities.

At last, we set sail (read, started flying) from Kolkata to Chennai as our International flight was booked from there. From Chennai, firstly we landed on Singapore, and from there finally, the Pilot greeted us that we have entered in Australia and landing at Brisbane. Earlier I saw much Australian roaming and enjoying at various parts in my country now we have come to cherish our hearts and making awesome memories which going to be fun. But for the first day, our
Indian taxi driver drove us to our hotel at Gold Coast near about 2 hours to flash off the jet lags and get charged up for the upcoming days.

Next morning had a light breakfast as the destination was Dreamworld, Australia’s largest theme park with 40 different rides and many roller coasters. The entire day we spent there, did almost everything like tallest and fastest thrill rides, watched live interactive shows and unique animal attractions, enjoyed a load with Tiger Island, Nick Central, The Australian Wildlife Experience, Wiggles World, Supercars RedLine, FlowRider and then head to Skypoint Observation Deck and our day is over. Again the next day SeaWorld was calling us to see the beauty of Fauna. SeaWorld is a marine mammal park, Oceanarium, and theme park with rides
like Sea Viper, Jet Rescue, then animal exhibits, and various shows and honestly far from my city, I enjoyed forgetting everything!!

The next day we were transferred from Gold Coast to Brisbane Domestic Airport to Melbourne and the 4th day was completed. Now, it was all about sightseeing in Melbourne, and we visited the Captain Cooks Cottage, Queen Victoria Market, Fitzroy Gardens and Albert Park-home to the Australian Grand Prix, Royal Botanic Gardens, Royal Exhibition Buildings, and Federation Square. The Shrine of Remembrance and The Southbank waterfront precinct, some of the city’s architecture including St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Princess and Regent Theatres. All the places we found just coming out of the calendar pages and stunning!! Then the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground, it was an hour-long guided tour.
On our 6th day, we departed for a remarkable journey of the Great Ocean Road, passing by limestone cliffs, sweeping white beaches, and stunning forest scenery, famous coastal townships of Torquay and Lorne-a surfer’s heaven and retreat, world famous Bells Beach, Port Campbell National Park, etc. Many ferns filled gullies, and river kissed us on our way and filled us with immense pleasure. Spectacular night lights of Melbourne stole our hearts when we crossed the West Gate Bridge. We just loved Australia. The next day was for going to Sydney from Melbourne by domestic flight, and the natural scenic beauty was mesmerizing!!

As the days were passing by, we already started feeling sad, but the 8th-day plan was to roam around Sydney, which was much excitement. We began with Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Manly Beach, Sydney Aquarium, and done glass bottom boat ride, enjoyed an unlimited 1-day trip on the Sydney Monorail and Sydney Tower Oztrek. Then the most fun-filled evening on the Sydney Showboat Cruise with an international show, magic show, 3-course dinner (standard seating) and spectacular view of Sydney Harbour Bridge which was awesome. Next morning the tour operator told us to take to Blue Mountain. The time I heard the name, felt eager, and when reached there, got spellbound. On the way, we saw Featherdale Wildlife Park, where we met native Kangaroos and Koalas, adorable animals, the Three Sisters rock formation at Katoomba. A guide took us in the Blue Mountains National Park, Wentworth Falls,Sublime Point, etc. and drove us hotel amazed and we realized that all the nine days are almost finished.
The next day was the last day we started our journey back from Sydney to Chennai via Kuala Lumpur. We came back with loads of memories and a heart full of adventure, awesomeness, and unforgettable happiness. It’s always very much essential to pack bags and go out sometimes, somewhere, nature will never return your empty heart.
